Six Sigma® Black Belt Certification :

  • Eight Days ie, 64 hours of Training awards specific to Six Sigma Education and Methodology(Awarded by QMS Academy).
  • Six Sigma Black Belt Certification
  • Bachelor’s Degree or more
  • Two project demonstrating Six Sigma concept, tools, techniques and methodologies.
  • Minimum 5years of professional Work experience
    OR
  • Without a Bachelor’s Degree, Applicants must have a minimum 8 years of professional Work experience

Six Sigma® Certification Eligibility Criteria

HOW IS SIX SIGMA MASTER BLACK BELT DIFFERENT FROM SIX SIGMA BLACK BELT
Six Sigma Master Black Belt talks about application of knowledge and concepts of Six Sigma and also about the methodology. Six Sigma Master Black Belt Practitioner certification is application of Tools of Six Sigma.

Management covers the concepts of removing the waste/ redundant processes / procedures.

CERTIFICATION
The certification for Six Sigma Master Black Belt Practitioner is awarded only after successful evaluation of all 3 criteria’s.

Criteria A – Profiling
Candidates will have to submit their profile exhibiting their extent of understanding of the practical application of Six Sigma and Methodology concepts. The profile will be evaluated by the Subject Matter Experts.

Criteria B – Written Examination
The written exam consists of 150 marks out of which the candidate needs to score 100 for passing. All questions are marked. No negative marking. 75 questions are based on scenarios and the rest 75 are conceptual.

Criteria C – Project Evaluation

The candidates will have to work on a project in a group of 4-5 individuals. The Project will carry a weightage of 100 marks and will be evaluated by the Subject Matter Experts. The passing score for the same will be 75 marks. The project should exhibit having used the important tools of Six Sigma and application of Methodology.
